Aloe Aristata (Lace Aloe)

AloeAristata

A stemless, very thin lacy Aloe variety that can grow up to 30cm tall with tiny white spots and ‘lacy’ white tips. They don’t cope with frosts so keep them protected in the cooler seasons if your area is prone to frosts. This Aloe is winter dormant so water less frequently in winter and only fertilise in its summer growing season. Aloe Aristata is native to South Africa and the juice is used with water as a refreshing body wash tonic.

The flower stems are orange/brown with red, green and yellow striped corolla (petals) appearing mid-late summer.
