Kalanchoe Orgyalis (Copper Spoons)

Kalanchoe Orgyalis (Copper Spoons) is a great succulent shrub, growing up to 1.8m high with bronze to grey undersides and cinnamon to green topsides (the cinnamon colour is usually seen on newer leaf growth). Usually flowering in late winter to early spring, the flowers are bright yellow in colour and are very long lasting.

Many growers discard the plant once it has flowered. However, this is not necessary. Simply remove the spent flower stem from the mother plant, reduce watering and let the plant rest a little before resuming your normal watering schedule.

Copper Spoons make a great feature plant to create height in any garden bed or kept in pot arrangements for its high colour contrast abilities.
