Kalanchoe Tomentosa (Panda Plant)
The soft furry leaves of the Panda Plant gives it its common name. Scientifically known as Kalanchoe Tomentosa, it comes in an array of colours, from grey-blue to chocolate (common name ‘Chocolate Soldier‘).
Panda Plant is a winter active/flowering succulent that does not like wet feet. Pot into well draining succulent soil or, if planting into your garden, combine with coarse sand and perlite for well draining soil.
Panda Plant is very easy to propagate, usually when a leaf drops into the pot it will easily develop fine roots that will eventually take hold in the soil and create a whole new plant.
