Ladybugs – Your Succulent Garden Friend

Why are ladybugs so wonderful to see in your succulent garden?

Ladybug (Lady beetle)

If I could propagate ladybugs just as easily as I can succulent leaf babies, I’d be one very happy lady! Ladybugs (the beneficial variety) can be your best friend in the garden. A single ladybug can consume as many as 5000 aphids in its lifetime. Along with this, ladybugs love devouring other harmful insects such as spider mites, whiteflies and mealybugs among many others. You can purchase ladybug larvae from any Bunnings store. Apparently 2000 ladybugs are enough for a small garden and 18,000 enough for a larger garden 😉
