The flowers are very showy and come in an array of colours from white, yellow, orange, red, pink and even 2 toned (as pictured). They are very showy plants however the stems are full of thorns, hence the name ‘crown of thorns.’ As it is a Euphorbia, it contains a poisonous sap that is dangerous to both humans and pets. The plant attracts certain bugs such as caterpillars that enjoy many different forms of Euphorbia plants.
