Graptoveria Rubra

Graptoveria_Rubra

Graptoveria Rubra is a deep ruby colour when the leaves are young, as they age the lower leaves take on a kind of brown/gold appearance. Rubra is propagated via leaf and offsets (pups) and is relatively pest free.

The best possible position in your garden for your Rubra would be in morning sun, afternoon shade especially in summer. Graptoverias tend to grow more rapidly in the cooler seasons so propagation is easier in autumn as the weather is more temperate.

This succulent makes a lovely ground cover or ‘filler’ plant if you need a little ‘pop’ of colour in your garden.
