Sedum Palmeri (Palmer’s Sedum)

SedumPalmeri_main

Palmeri can grow up to 20cm in height (quite a small shrub like ground cover). As it is a Sedum it’s growing season is winter, this is also the time to look out for blooms. Generally I find it flowers mid winter in Brisbane. It can be attractive to aphids when flowering begins so be sure to check your plant regularly in winter. Flowers are a bright yellow colour and foliage is generally a pale green however, if exposed to more sun, leaves can develop a bit of a pink tinge around the edges.
