Senecio ‘Elk Antlers’

Elk Antlers is one of the more ‘tidy’ looking low growing Senecio shrubs. Although it can grow up to 90cm in height, it generally maintains a more ‘compact’ appearance without the drooping that Senecio Vitalis can display. It is generally pest free, but a little more slow growing then other common Senecio varieties.

This succulent prefers a full sun location and will reach full bloom mid winter. They are not very frost tolerant, so some protective covering might be a worthwhile investment if you live in an environment that experiences frost in the cooler seasons.

It’s flowers are very similar to that of Senecio Candle Plant and it will attract flies with its perfume.
